National Stalking Awareness Week 2023

1 in 5 women and 1 in 10 men will experience stalking in their lifetime. It can lead to feelings of depression, anxiety and even post-traumatic stress.

National Stalking Awareness Week 2023 is held from 24th – 28th April. This year’s theme is ‘Standing Against Stalking: Supporting Young People’.

The theme and Suzy Lamplugh Trust are highlighting the urgent need for everyone to stand together with young people to support them to recognise stalking and encourage them to access specialist support.

The aim of this week is to raise awareness about stalking amongst young people and how we can work together to better support this demographic. Suzy Lamplugh Trust will be sharing information, educational resources, and signposting to specialist support services throughout the week.

If you are a victim of stalking, you can contact the National Stalking Helpline on 0808 802 0300 or visit their website. Their specialist tool can help to confirm if the behaviours you are experiencing are stalking.
